Summary

Akai and Amuro become a couple and are caught up in a series of adventures that take them around the globe and coming to face with world-famous thieves, terrorists, and many remnants of the organization they once worked for.

This is actually a really long series of fic that reference each other, so I’ll be breaking this down into sections with an guide for original characters and concepts in case you get confused.

Violence
Both Akai and Rei get hurt really badly throughout the fic. I’m pretty sure Rei gets shot in the stomach 3-4 times, all in the span of 2-3 years. His lifespan is not very promising lol.

Other Ships
There is a scene that references DaiKemi when Akai unconsciously calls out for Akemi in front of Rei. Rei takes it… as well as he can for someone who has a crush on Akai.

Summary

Akai and Amuro start bonding through their shared love of stargazing. Meanwhile, they are separately investigating a series of child abductions and a suspicious pharmaceutical company.

Reccer’s Remarks

I actually started with Part V before realizing there’s a whole series of connected fics and read through all of it in chronological order. At first I was hesitant to start this series because there’s a lot of fanon and OC-heavy plot, but Part V got me hooked and I was more comfortable with reading the rest.

The first half of this is very romcom-like, with a heavy dose of Shinichi giving Akai advice on how to deepen his friendship with Rei, and it’s incredibly funny where Akai is “I wanna hang out with him but we don’t have the same interests : (((((” and Shinichi is just partly exasperated that these two grown adults haven’t got it figured out.

All in all, this is the fic where AkAm gets together, and they’ll stay together for the entire of the series.
